Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in Avaloq core banking systems and wealth management. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, playing a critical role in driving system enhancements, change initiatives, and delivery of key banking functionalities within the Avaloq ecosystem.

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Avaloq Core Banking Platform with focus on wealth management and investment products.

- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders across wealth management and banking operations.

- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and support development teams in implementing changes.

- Conduct gap analyses, process modeling, and impact assessments for new functionalities and regulatory changes.

- Lead end-to-end analysis for change requests and projects: from requirements gathering to user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live support.

- Configure Avaloq parameterizations (if applicable), and support customization activities in close collaboration with developers and solution architects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, testers, and business users.

- Contribute to project planning, timeline estimation, and issue/risk identification.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying system inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.

- Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, FATCA, CRS, etc., if relevant.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2+ years of experience in business analysis within the banking or financial services sector.

- Proven hands-on experience with Avaloq Core Banking System (certification is a plus).

- Strong understanding of wealth management products: investments, advisory, portfolio management, and client onboarding.

- Good knowledge of banking operations, front-to-back processes, and regulatory compliance.

- Ability to work with Avaloq parameterization and scripting (nice to have).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Avaloq certification (Functional Analyst / Technical Specialist).

- Exposure to Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, or Oracle databases.

- Familiarity with integration projects using APIs and web services.

- Prior consulting experience or involvement in large-scale Avaloq implementations or migrations.
