We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect who views code not as an end, but as a vehicle for business value. You will lead the technical evolution of our platform, ensuring our architecture is resilient, scalable, and, most importantly, aligned with our market goals.

You are as comfortable whiteboarding a distributed system with SREs as you are discussing ROI and "Time to Market" with the VP.

Being a Connective Tissue between the product vision, the infrastructure, and the people is of immense importance. We are looking for a working architect who can step in when people are stuck in code or need to find ways to move forward.

Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of full-stack solutions, from high-concurrency backend microservices to performant, accessible frontend frameworks.

- Tech Stack Evolution: Evaluate and select technologies that balance innovation with maintainability, while augmenting the resilience and adaptability of the current stack.

- Standard Setting: Discover and define ways of building software, establishing patterns for API design, state management, and deployment.

- Efficiency architecture: Analyse, evaluate and optimise for cloud, hybrid deployments and resources.

- Technical Product Management: Partner with Product Owners to translate a "business problem" into a "technical roadmap." Identify where technical debt is hindering business velocity and advocate for its resolution. Collaboratively build roadmaps and MVPs for accelerating business.

- The "Force Multiplier": Mentor staff and senior engineers, raising the collective technical bar of the organisation.

- Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as the primary technical point of contact for non-technical stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Legal), explaining complex technical trade-offs in plain language.

Requirements :

- 12+ years of Engineering Experience: A proven track record of shipping and maintaining large-scale, production-grade applications and products

- Expert-level knowledge in at least one backend ecosystem (e.g., Go, Java, Node.js) and at least one frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue).

- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native patterns (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- The ability to persuade, negotiate, and lead through influence rather than authority.

- Experience in high-growth environments where you've had to balance "building it right" with "building it now."
