Senior Systems Engineer - Network Component

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS networking components including VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

- Implement NetDevOps practices to automate and optimize network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

- Monitor network performance, latency, and reliability using tools such as Wireshark and other diagnostic utilities.

- Configure and maintain routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MP-BGP) and multicast technologies (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, GRE).

- Ensure secure and optimized operation of core protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and SMTP.

- Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust and compliant network architecture.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud and networking technologies, recommending improvements as needed.

- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network-related outages.

Requirements :

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in network engineering and cloud connectivity.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect).

- Proficiency in routing and switching technologies, multicast, and network security.

- Experience with NetDevOps tools and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, AWS CLI, or similar).

- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN design, TCP/IP, and network performance analysis.

- Working knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid cloud architectures is a plus.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
