We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced Sr. System Engineer (3+ Yrs to 5+ Yrs) to manage, monitor, and improve IT infrastructure and cloud environments.

The role involves effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to troubleshooting, and a keen interest in Server, Cloud, and Network administration.

Experience with AWS and Azure, along with relevant certifications, will be an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Undergraduate in Engineering or Postgraduate with 46 years of industry experience.

- Experience with email servers like Sendmail, Postfix, and Exchange.

- Proficient in backup, restore, and storage solutions.

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix server administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS).

- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking, Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Linux/Unix security systems.

- Experience handling network equipment like routers, switches, and modems, including configuration and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with anti-spam, antivirus, and information security best practices.

Skills & Competencies :

- On-Premises Server management and Cloud server administration (AWS, Azure preferred).

- Network monitoring and management.

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, hardware, and software infrastructure.

- Monitor mission-critical servers, network stability, and performance.

- Review, develop, and improve infrastructure monitoring standards.

- Troubleshoot issues with desktops, servers, network equipment, and monitoring applications.

- Maintain operational procedures, including routine backups, OS patches, and antivirus updates.

- Plan, develop, and implement ICT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

- Secure systems and data from internal and external threats.

- Engineer solutions for operational and project needs, including automated system administration tasks.

- Contribute to and maintain system standards, documentation, and procedures.
