Senior Systems Analyst - Encryption Services

As a Senior Systems Analyst for Encryption Services , the candidate is expected to oversee the full lifecycle of digital certificates (issuance, renewal, revocation, and expiration monitoring) and work with the team to support extensive application portfolio

Requirements :

At least 5+ years of experience in IT with focus on Security Engineering and Encryption Services

- Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise Encryption Solutions

- Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including root and subordinate Certificate Authorities (CAs).

- Oversee the full lifecycle of digital certificates (issuance, renewal, revocation, and expiration monitoring).

- Implement certificate automation using tools such as Venafi, DigiCert etc.

- Configure and monitor SSL/TLS certificates for internal and external-facing applications.

- Proficient in using OpenSSL for certificate and key generation, inspection, conversion, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with Keytool for managing Java Keystores and configuring secure communication in Java-based applications.

- Strong understanding of SSL/TLS protocols, cipher suites, and X.509 certificate structure.

- Familiarity with certificate formats such as PEM, DER, CRT, CER, PFX, and JKS.

- Working knowledge of Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), private key encryption, and trust chains.

- Partner with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to integrate encryption and PKI solutions.

- Maintain hardware security modules (HSMs) and key management systems (KMS) such as AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault.

- Proficiency with scripting or automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for certificate handling.

- Experience in configuring HTTPS for web servers and application services (e.g., NGINX, Apache, Tomcat)

- Understanding of ITIL and Agile is a plus.

- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills - with attention to details

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desired Skills :

- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault & scripting experience. Worked on products like Venafi. Proficient in using OpenSSL for certificate and key generation, inspection, conversion, and trouble shooting Good Communication Skills

Education & Certifications :

- Minimum Graduate and good have Venafi Certification.
