About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Performance Test Engineer to lead the performance, scalability, and reliability testing of our systems.
The role requires deep technical expertise in performance engineering, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
You will be responsible for designing performance test strategies, executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, plan, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for complex systems and applications.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development/architecture teams to optimize system behavior.
- Develop performance test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools.
- Define system performance KPIs, monitor trends, and prepare detailed performance reports.
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and product managers to integrate performance testing into the SDLC.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance-related issues and recommend improvements.
- Ensure performance testing aligns with business and technical requirements.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 58 years of experience in performance engineering/testing.
- Hands-on experience with tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Shell, etc.) for automation.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying performance bottlenecks.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) performance testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests.
- Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
