Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise IT infrastructure.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization across on-premise and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and scalability of systems while supporting business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise server infrastructure (physical and virtual)

- Administer Windows and/or Linux systems in production environments

- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning

- Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)

- Implement security best practices, patching, and vulnerability remediation

- Automate routine system administration tasks using scripting tools

- Support system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives

- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams

- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams

- Provide L3 support and mentoring to junior engineers

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)

- Virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V

- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Storage technologies: SAN, NAS, Backup & Recovery solutions

- Monitoring tools: Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Prometheus, or similar

- Scripting and automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python

- Identity & Access Management: Active Directory, LDAP

- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Load Balancers)

- Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
