We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, managing network systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, networking, and cloud services, with a solid understanding of system performance monitoring and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee and maintain Linux-based systems (RedHat, CentOS, Debian) and Windows environments.

- Troubleshoot system and network issues, providing timely resolution and technical support to organizational users.

- Manage system configurations, installations, and updates to ensure system stability and security.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access rights.

- Perform regular security tests and monitor network activity to ensure robust protection against security threats.

- Manage network infrastructure, including DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, and other protocols.

- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring efficient use of resources.

- Administer firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices.

- Manage cloud services and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance.

- Administer GoDaddy VPS management, including domains, DNS records, hosting, and SSL certificates.

- Handle WHM and cPanel server management, including user accounts, emails, and domain management.

- Oversee Microsoft 365 administration, including user creation and license management.

- Administer the cloud-based and local Git server infrastructure.

- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewall management (SOPHOS), and SSL installations.

- Ensure regular data backups and disaster recovery protocols are in place.

- Regularly monitor system and network performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.

- Ensure systems are fully operational, minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in system and network administration.

- Proficiency in Linux systems (RedHat, CentOS, Debian) and experience with MySQL/MariaDB databases.

- Strong knowledge of DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, and other networking protocols.

- Expertise in managing Microsoft 365, WHM, cPanel, and GoDaddy VPS platforms.

- Strong working knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and general network administration.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Linux system administration and Windows environments.

- Familiarity with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and cron jobs.

- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and file sharing systems.

- Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.

- Knowledge of IT fundamentals, hardware, software, and operating systems.

Certifications :

- Relevant certifications such as RHCE, RHCT, LPIC, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.

- Additional certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
