Senior System Administrator - Linux OS

Position : Senior Systems Administrator

Location : Hyderabad (Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Notice Period : Immediate joiners preferred (up to 60 days acceptable; 3-month notice not considered)

Work Shift : 247 rotational

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Administrator with 56 years of hands-on experience managing Linux-based systems and Azure cloud environments in production. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced enterprise environments, brings a strong troubleshooting mindset, and can drive both stability and scalability across infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Administration :

- Provision and manage resources in Azure using ARM templates and Terraform

- Design secure and scalable cloud infrastructure with IAM, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Gateways

- Optimize performance and costs via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

- Support disaster recovery planning, cloud migration, and modernization efforts

- Azure certifications (Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect Expert) are a strong advantage

Linux Administration (CentOS / Red Hat) :

- Maintain production Linux servers : OS patching, system tuning, secure configurations (SELinux, iptables, etc.)

- Manage storage using LVM, configure NFS/SMB, and automate tasks with shell scripts / Ansible / Chef

- Support open-source tools like Nginx, Apache, FTP/SFTP

- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and handle system-level troubleshooting

Windows Server + VMware (Secondary Skillset) :

- Support hybrid infrastructure with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware

- Ensure proper backup/recovery protocols and assist with identity & access management

What Were Looking For :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- 5+ years of systems administration experience with proven expertise in Azure and Linux

- Strong foundation in enterprise infrastructure, system performance, and IT operations

- Comfortable working in a 24x7 rotational shift environment

- Solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and cross-functional collaboration
