We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr. Staff Quality Assurance Engineer to be a driving force within our high-impact Cloud Team.

This role is critical to ensuring the flawless, high-quality delivery of our cutting-edge SaaS solutions. You will be instrumental in bridging global engineering and platform teams, maintaining robust automation, and guaranteeing smooth, reliable cloud releases.

Responsibilities & Impact :

As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you will own the end-to-end quality process for our cloud solutions.

1. Automation & Test Engineering Leadership :

- Architect and Develop scalable automated tests using Python (with PyTest) and JavaScript (with Playwright) to validate complex expected vs. actual outcomes.

- Drive CI/CD Integration by actively contributing to and enhancing test automation within Azure Pipelines for seamless integration and regression testing.

- Expertly Test core product components, including REST API endpoints and modern Web UI, ensuring comprehensive browser compatibility and usability.

- Utilize Git for sophisticated, version-controlled test development.

2. Strategic Quality Assurance & Execution :

- Design and manage comprehensive, risk-assessed test artifacts (test cases, scenarios, preconditions) for high-priority features and releases.

- Lead the execution of both manual and automated test suites for release candidates, managing complex release workflows and essential post-release validations.

- Maintain meticulous records using tools like TestRail, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

3. Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Fully embed in a global Agile Scrum team, actively participating in requirements refinement, precise effort estimation, test planning, documentation, demos, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate effectively across global time zones with development, architecture, escalation, and platform teams.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Mastery :

- 7+ Years of total experience, with a dedicated 4-5 years in software testing and 3+ years in Enterprise Test Automation.

- Mandatory Hands-on coding proficiency in Python & JavaScript with expertise in PyTest and Playwright.

- Deep understanding and experience in REST API testing, advanced UI testing, and browser compatibility validation.

- Proven track record of integrating tests with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD environments.

- Familiarity with UX principles, usability testing, and user-centric quality assurance.

- Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

- Experience in Performance/Load testing and Datadog synthetic monitoring.

- Experience with testing installed software (e.g., browser extensions, Windows applications).

- Prior experience in validating applications for security, compliance, and data integrity.
