Senior SSIS/SQL Developer

Description :

Roles & Responsibilities :

ETL Development & Reporting :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS.

- Build, enhance, and support reporting solutions using SSRS.

- Ensure ETL pipelines are reliable, scalable, and optimized for performance.

SQL Development & Data Processing :

- Write, debug, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Work with MS SQL Server for data extraction, data analysis, and query development.

- Handle data integration tasks involving payment systems and financial transaction data.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Use Splunk for log monitoring, incident analysis, and troubleshooting data flow issues.

- Investigate ETL failures, query performance problems, and system irregularities.

- Provide proactive solutions to ensure minimal downtime and smooth data operations.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including BI, Data Engineering, QA, and Operations.

- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and production deployment activities.

- Maintain proper documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and SQL logic.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- SSIS - ETL workflow design & development

- SSRS - Reporting development & support

- SQL Developer / T-SQL - Advanced SQL scripting & optimization

- Strong experience with MS SQL Server databases

Desired Skills (Good to Have) :

- C# / .NET for integrating custom components or tasks

- Splunk for log monitoring and analytics

- Experience working in the Financial / Payments Domain

- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD processes (optional)

Experience Required : Minimum 5 Years in Financial Services / Payments and over all 8 years
