Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with 8+ years of proven expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-level databases.

The ideal candidate will have strong command over T-SQL, legacy refactoring, and modern database practices, with the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

This role will focus on ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability of databases that support mission-critical applications.

What Youll Do :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers using T-SQL

- Refactor legacy stored procedures for performance and scalability

- Design normalized and scalable database architectures aligned with business requirements

- Perform data modeling, schema design, and schema evolution

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot bottlenecks using SQL Profiler, Extended Events

- Collaborate with .NET/API teams for seamless integration

- Break down monolithic SQL codebases into modular components during modernization

- Implement database decoupling strategies for microservices

- Ensure data integrity during migration and modernization projects

- Manage schema changes, migrations, and rollbacks using Flyway, Liquibase, SSDT

- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews)

- Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for documentation, boilerplate scripts, and optimizations

What Were Looking For :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer supporting enterprise-level applications

- Expert in T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers)

- Skilled in legacy optimization and refactoring

- Strong database design and relational modeling expertise

- Proficient in performance tuning and troubleshooting

- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams

- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

- Agile/Scrum experience

- Familiarity with AI-enhanced development tools

Additional Skills :

- Legacy refactoring & database decoupling for modernization

- Schema migration tools (Flyway, Liquibase, SSDT)
