Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP QM Support & Testing Specialist for the role of Senior Solution Architect D&T (SAP Testing). The incumbent will be responsible for functional testing, system support, and validation of SAP Quality Management (QM) processes, ensuring system stability and seamless business operations.

This role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to support incidents, enhancements, and release cycles within the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP QM Testing & Validation :

- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for SAP QM processes

- Validate QM master data, including inspection plans, MICs, sampling procedures, and quality notifications

- Execute and document test scripts aligned with real business scenarios

- Test and verify inspection lots, usage decisions, defect recording, and quality certificates

- Support testing for incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections

- Validate batch management and inspection-related integrations

SAP Support & Incident Management

- Provide day-to-day SAP QM support, analyze incidents, and ensure timely issue resolution

- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with functional and technical teams for fixes

- Support post go-live activities and production stabilization

Cross-Module & End-to-End Testing

- Work closely with MM, PP, WM, and PM teams to execute end-to-end process testing

- Participate in enhancements, change requests, and SAP release cycles

- Support UAT cycles, including preparation, execution, and defect closure

Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Reports

- Ensure compliance with organizational QA standards and testing guidelines

- Track and manage defects using standard defect management tools

Required Skills & Experience :

Core Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP QM module, including :

- Inspection Lots

- MICs (Master Inspection Characteristics)

- Usage Decisions (UD)

- Quality Notifications

- Sampling procedures

- Proven experience in SAP support and testing environments

- Solid understanding of integrated SAP modules such as MM, PP, WM, and PM

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent

- Ability to write clear, structured test scenarios and documentation

Preferred Skills

- Experience with S/4HANA QM implementations or support

- Exposure to test automation tools

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
