Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Java, and Linux to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to architecture and product development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Python and Java.

- Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code following software development best practices.

- Work on Linux-based environments for application deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.

- Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.

- Debug and resolve production issues in Linux environments.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.

- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices within the team.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of software development experience.

- Strong programming expertise in Python and Java.

- Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.

- Experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles.

- Good understanding of multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and system design.

- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
