About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (SSE) with strong expertise in Python and AWS to join our engineering team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend applications and cloud-native solutions using Python and AWS services.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing reliable software systems while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications using Python.

- Build robust backend services, APIs, and cloud-native applications.

- Design and implement solutions using AWS cloud services.

- Work extensively with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.

- Develop serverless applications and scalable cloud architectures using AWS Lambda.

- Design efficient data models and work with Amazon DynamoDB for high-scale applications.

- Integrate Amazon Bedrock and AI capabilities into software applications where required.

- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using Amazon CloudWatch.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using AWS CloudFormation.

- Troubleshoot application and production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering processes and standards.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in software development or a related engineering role.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python.

- Strong experience developing backend applications and REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly : AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS CloudFormation.

- Good understanding of cloud-native and serverless architectures.

- Experience with application monitoring, logging, debugging, and production support.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.

- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Education : B. Tech / B. E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
