Senior Software Engineer

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.

- Perform thorough end-to-end testing across front-end, back-end, and database layers.

- Track, report, and manage defects through the Defect Life Cycle until closure.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.

- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data consistency and integrity.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Document and communicate test results clearly and effectively.

Mandatory Skills :

- Manual Testing

- End-to-End Testing

- SQL Queries for Data Validation

- Defect Life Cycle Understanding

Good to Have :

- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing tools like Selenium or similar.

- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Exposure to Power BI Reports testing and data verification.

- Understanding of Kafka and message-based systems.

- API Testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.

- Knowledge of HAFT interfaces and fail over testing scenarios.
