Senior Software Engineer - LIMS

Job Description :

- Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in a computer system, engineer or Technical graduation.

Skills required :

- Labware LIMS development and Labware ELN , Web Services (REST & SOAP)

- (SAP), LIMS Basics, Labware LIMS, Subroutines, Instrument interfaces

- Labware databases.

- Labware Migration projects.

- JIRA, HPSM, GEAR, source code repositories

Roles and responsibilities :

- Lead and participate in the end-to-end development and configuration of Labware LIMS and ELN systems, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business requirements.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust interfaces (including SAP and instrument interfaces) using Web Services (REST & SOAP) and Labware LIMS technologies.

- Manage Labware database configurations, subroutines, and enhancements, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze change requests, resolve system bugs, and address backlog items effectively.

- Execute Labware LIMS migration projects, including system upgrades, data transfers, and

validation support.

- Apply best practices in software development life cycle including requirements analysis,

version control, release management, and documentation.

- Utilize tools like JIRA, HPSM, GEAR, and source code repositories for project tracking, incident management, and code versioning.

- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities to ensure adherence to technical standards and quality benchmarks.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers, and support knowledge sharing within the team.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly within the Life Sciences sector (preferred).
