Job Description :

We're hiring for a Senior Software Engineer - Java Backend (Banking Domain) at Jocata in Hyderabad.

Build enterprise-grade banking and FinTech platforms that power lending, payments, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives for leading financial institutions.

What you'll do :

- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Build secure, high-performance APIs and transaction processing systems.

- Develop and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

- Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise banking solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong unit test coverage.

- Participate in system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

We're looking for someone who :

- Has 5-8 years of experience in Java Backend development.

- Has strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.

- Has hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and REST APIs.

- Has solid SQL and database design skills.

- Has experience working in Linux environments.

- Has at least 3+ years of Banking/BFSI domain experience.

Banking experience in areas such as :

- Core Banking.

- Lending Platforms.

- Payments & Transaction Processing.

- AML/KYC Solutions.

- Settlement & Reconciliation Systems.

Bonus points if you :

- Have experience with Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Have exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Have worked with React or Angular-based applications.
