What will you be doing ?

Molex is offering a highly visible role for a Senior Software Engineer, and you will design innovative software solutions that will plot data relevant for analysis and performance of our high-speed connectors and cables.

- You will be working with a world class Signal integrity, Firmware, and Hardware team to plot S parameter and other relevant signal information.

- You will also be supporting software that our active cable team will be needing for firmware validation.

- You will work closely with Molex engineering teams to translate application needs into best-in-class solutions.

- You may also spend time in Molex lab facilities, delivering innovative development solutions that support our products and drive revenue.

- Must be very fluent and have 4+ years of programming experience in Python (this is necessary).

- Commitment to high quality work.

- Examples of self-actualization required.

- Experience in the implementation of algorithms and implementation of scientific equations/formulas/numerical solutions and data visualization.

- A strong understanding of software architecture and design.

- Ability to apply computer programming concepts to solve complex problems in a variety of programming environments.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and others as required.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely with global teams.

- Analytical ability to apply logical reasoning, test assumptions, observe results and make corrections.

- Eagerness to learn.

What will make you a star candidate :

- Experience building desktop applications on Windows (Qt or wx preferred).

- Modeling experience in physics and mathematics (Strongly preferred).

- Experience in C and Matlab.

- Familiarity with Gitlab, Jenkins and Jfrog.

- Worked on firmware with microcontrollers or firmware validation testing.

- Familiarity with unit testing.

- Statistical data processing experience.

- Experience developing software libraries and APIs for use by other engineers.

- Familiarity with SQL databases.
