Location : Chennai (Hybrid)

About the Role :

We are hiring a senior VC++ developer to join a global semiconductor equipment company building next-generation hardware control and automation software.

You will work on real embedded systems interfacing with industrial hardware - not CRUD apps or web backends.

What You'll Work On :

- Develop and maintain software using Microsoft Visual C++ within an established, production-grade codebase

- Build new features to control industrial analyzer and doser hardware

- Interface with COM ports, USB devices, PCI cards, and Ethernet networks

- Write and optimize multithreaded applications

- Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to define and deliver requirements

- Conduct code reviews and participate in the full SDLC

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong Visual C++ - minimum 5 years of hands-on experience

- MFC - minimum 1 year, and must be willing to actively work on MFC now

- Win32 API and Windows environment experience

- Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

- STL, SQL, XML, TCP/IP Sockets

- Object-oriented programming principles

Qualifications

- B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

- Minimum 5 years in C++ development

- Must come from a product company - service company backgrounds will not be considered

- Strong job stability required - minimum 2 years tenure at each organization

Nice to Have

- Multithreading and concurrent programming experience

- Microservices architecture exposure

- Modbus and SECS/GEM protocol knowledge

- Windows Kernel-Mode Driver development

- Industrial automation or semiconductor manufacturing equipment experience

- Familiarity with liquid chemical analytical hardware

- COM/DCOM experience
