Roles & Responsibilities :

- Take ownership of assigned functional areas and independently resolve real-time customer issues using advanced debugging techniques and in-depth code analysis.

- Perform detailed root cause analysis of critical events and support full-scale customer issue recreations to develop permanent fixes.

- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to the existing VMAX Microcode codebase based on customer insights.

- Design, develop, test, and document high-quality code changes.

- Ensure accountability for QA validation cycles, including defect triage and resolution.

- Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming to optimize performance and scalability.

- Work closely with cross-functional and global teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering standards and best practices.

Experience Required :

- 5-8 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in C programming.

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded application development.

- Experience in debugging complex system-level issues.

- Exposure to storage systems, storage protocols, and storage driver development is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
