Responsibilities :

- Elevated Documentation and PCL: Author comprehensive specs, define unit test strategies, and drive the PCL/impact analysis process.

- Advanced Design Patterns: Lead architectural discussions on patterns.

- Structured Mentorship: Review code, improve engineering practices, and teach design patterns/documentation standards.

Requirements :

- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience building software for the Windows desktop environment, with a proven track record of mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.

- Core Languages and Frameworks: Advanced skills in C++ programming, object-oriented design, and Win32 / MFC libraries.

- Design Patterns: Strong architectural command of software design patterns (creational, structural, and behavioral).

- Hardware Interfacing: Practical experience writing software that controls physical hardware, manages motor movements, or reads inputs from external industrial equipment.

- Documentation and Testing: Proven ability to create comprehensive system specifications, architectural layout documents, developer-level unit test cases, and impact analysis checklists (PCL).

- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronic/automation engineering, or a related technical field.
