Job Overview :
- Build high-performance, cross-platform modules supporting media, timeline, and sequence workflows across DVA products
- Develop features in core video, formats, and media pipeline components to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Design and implement import/export, decode/encode, and media processing workflows across a wide range of video and audio formats
- Implement unit tests and end-to-end media scenarios to validate correctness, performance, and stability
- Develop automation and backend infrastructure to detect performance regressions and media pipeline issues in continuous integration
- Participate in architecture and design discussions for core formats and video subsystems, lead design for your feature area
- Develop or optimize imaging and video processing algorithms to solve real-world problems faced by professional creators
- Leverage CPU, GPU, and hardware acceleration effectively to meet real-time and batch processing performance requirements
The key responsibilities include :
- Work collaboratively with a global team of engineers, product managers, and designers to create shared software components to enable a new generation of desktop video and audio creation applications
- Partner with internal client teams to integrate those components into their product, to ensure that product features apply those components correctly and completely, and to optimize the end-to-end workflow to delight the customer
- As an Individual contributor, develop new frameworks and features to improve performance and stability for the full product development cycle from early specs, prototypes to implementation to release and maintenance
- Strengthen space-time performance optimizations, usability and stability of products
- Understand the resource constraints of devices and implement robust and efficient solutions with respect to CPU processing and memory utilization
Requirements :
- B.Tech. / MTech. in computer science and engineering.
- Proficient in C++, object-oriented design, problem-solving skills, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of image or video processing, GPU, or experience in imaging or video is a plus.
- Solid in design at the system or application level.
- Strong debugging and solving skills at the system / application level.
Nice to Have :
- Knowledge of image/video processing, GPU programming, or hardware-accelerated media workflows
- Experience working on performance-critical, large-scale C++ codebases
- Strong design skills at the system or application architecture level.
