Lead engineering for customer-facing mobile and web apps across Flutter, React (PWA/Web), and native iOS/Android platforms. Drive performance, reliability, and scale for millions of users at India scale. Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver seamless user experiences while growing and mentoring engineering managers and senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead engineering execution for all mobile and web applications ensuring performance, reliability, and quality.

- Partner with product and design teams to translate business goals into technical plans.

- Manage and grow engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering leadership and autonomy.

- Drive platform consistency through shared components, reusable frameworks, and observability.

- Optimize performance for diverse devices and network conditions typical in India.

- Improve engineering productivity with automation, CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and tooling.

- Establish review and feedback mechanisms to ensure engineering excellence and accountability.

- Lead incident RCA and recovery, implementing preventive system-wide measures.

- Create engineering metrics dashboards to monitor uptime, delivery velocity, regressions, and tech debt.

- Foster ownership, clarity of goals, and pride in delivery across teams.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 13-15 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles at high-scale B2C product companies.

- Deep technical expertise in Flutter, Kotlin/Java, Swift, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PWA development.

- Proven experience delivering and scaling consumer-facing applications for millions of users with high concurrency and device/network fragmentation.

- Strong skills in app performance optimization, observability, crash analytics, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience growing senior engineers and managers into technical leaders.

- Data-driven approach using engineering metrics to improve team throughput and predictability.

- Collaborative leadership style working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
