We are looking for a Senior QA / SDET to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our recruitment and background verification platforms.

The role involves hands-on manual and automation testing, defining quality standards, and working closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Quality Assurance & Testing :

- Analyze business and technical requirements related to staffing, recruitment workflows, and background verification systems

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and API-based applications

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing

- Ensure quality across candidate onboarding, document verification, client dashboards, reporting, and compliance modules

Automation & SDET :

- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and regression testing

- Identify automation candidates and improve overall test coverage

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Analyze test failures and work closely with developers for quick resolution

Defect Management & Process Improvement :

- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar

- Conduct root cause analysis and ensure preventive actions

- Continuously improve QA processes aligned with QA/QMS best practices

Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction :

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and operations teams

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environment

- Support UAT and production release validations

Compliance & Documentation :

- Ensure applications comply with data security, privacy, and audit requirements (especially relevant to background verification)

- Maintain detailed QA documentation, test reports, and release sign-offs

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- 4- 7 years of experience in QA / SDET roles

- Strong experience in manual testing and automation testing

- Hands-on knowledge of web application testing and API testing

- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, etc.)

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Domain Knowledge (Preferred) :

- Experience in HR Tech, Staffing & Recruitment platforms, or Background Verification systems

- Understanding of compliance-driven workflows and data validation

Tools & Technologies :

- Test Management : TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent

- Defect Tracking : JIRA / Azure DevOps

- Automation : Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / REST automation

- CI/CD exposure is a plus
