Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.

- Develop comprehensive automation test plans, strategies, and execution models.

- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Test REST APIs and microservices using Rest Assured or equivalent tools.

- Perform end-to-end testing across complex system architectures, including COTS products.

- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), ST, and ST+1 environments, ensuring thorough validation.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.

- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers for resolution.

- Ensure high unit and integration test coverage across components.

- Continuously improve test coverage, effectiveness, and efficiency of the automation suite.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in test automation and framework development.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming for automation.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured.

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API testing.

- Experience testing in COTS platforms, enterprise systems, or similar complex environments.

- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps pipelines.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven) is a plus.

- Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into robust test scenarios.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Experience in performance testing tools is a plus (e.g., JMeter).

- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is advantageous.
