About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled API Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Rest Assured, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our API services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using Java and Rest Assured.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of APIs.

- Analyse test results, identify issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.

- Develop reusable, efficient, and scalable test scripts and utilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, DevOps) to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting of test results.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in API testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java programming.

- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API concepts and HTTP protocols.

- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.).

- Knowledge of testing frameworks like TestNG/JUnit.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
