Role Overview :

As a Senior SDET specializing in Automation and AI, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative products. Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies, frameworks, and scripts, with a strong focus on integrating AI and Machine Learning techniques to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential risks, and deliver high-quality software releases. Your work will directly impact the user experience by ensuring that our products are robust, scalable, and performant, ultimately contributing to increased customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber for web, API, and mobile applications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Develop and execute performance test plans using JMeter to identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system performance under various load conditions.

- Integrate AI and Machine Learning techniques into the testing process to automate test case generation, predict potential defects, and improve overall testing efficiency.

- Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman or Rest-Assured to validate the functionality, reliability, and security of our APIs.

- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle, reducing the cost and time associated with fixing bugs later on.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders to improve software quality and development processes.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies by researching and implementing new tools and techniques.

- Mentor and guide junior SDETs, sharing your expertise and best practices to foster a culture of quality and innovation within the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber.

- Proven expertise in performance testing using JMeter, including the ability to analyze results and provide actionable recommendations.

- Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts, with experience in applying these techniques to improve testing processes.

- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest-Assured, with a deep understanding of RESTful principles.

- Solid experience with SQL and database testing, including the ability to write complex queries and validate data integrity.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment, demonstrating strong self-motivation and time management skills.
