Role : Senior Software Engineer III (Backend)

Experience : 6 - 8 Years

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer who can take ownership of critical technical challenges and build high-performance, scalable software systems. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who thrives on solving complex engineering problems, contributes to architectural decisions, and helps raise the technical bar across the team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and deliver critical backend components end-to-end.

- Solve complex, high-impact technical challenges.

- Collaborate closely with architects on Low-Level Design (LLD) and technical roadmaps.

- Re-architect and optimize existing algorithms and implementations.

- Drive improvements in system performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Participate in and lead code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting strong engineering practices across the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong backend development experience in Java / Python / Golang / Erlang.

- Hands-on experience with microservices and scalable, distributed system architecture.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

- Strong knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, and database design.

- Strong fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, and frameworks.

- Proven experience in algorithmic development and complex problem-solving.

- Experience designing and implementing non-trivial multi-process / multi-threaded systems.

- Strong grasp of version control (e.g., Git) and software engineering best practices.

- Prior experience with code reviews, technical mentoring, and design discussions.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Candidates from premier institutes preferred.
