Go (Golang) Developer - SDE 3

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in Go (Golang) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, with a deep understanding of building scalable, high-performance systems. As an Sr. Golang developer, you will lead projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop advanced solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Go (Golang).

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and improvements.

- Lead technical discussions and design reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry best practices.

- Optimize existing Go-based applications for scalability, performance, and security.

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services, ensuring system robustness and responsiveness.

- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployment automation.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, reliability, and scalability in production systems.

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.

- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in Golang, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.

- Ensure a secure development process by implementing security best practices in coding and system architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 7 - 12 years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 3 years of professional experience using Go (Golang).

- Strong understanding of Go's concurrency model, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Solid experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, and cloud-native architecture.

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

- Proficient in version control systems like Git.

- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, such as TDD, SOLID principles, and clean code.

- Experience with profiling and optimizing Go applications for performance and efficiency.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with distributed caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.

- Familiarity with GraphQL and gRPC.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Educational Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
