Role Overview :

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building reliable backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. You will take ownership of developing and maintaining business-critical applications, improving performance and scalability, and resolving production issues with strong troubleshooting skills.

This role requires deep backend expertise, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of applications.

- Utilize relational database management systems (RDBMS) to manage and retrieve data efficiently.

- Implement containerization solutions using Docker for consistent deployment across environments.

- Maintain clear and concise documentation of support processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and gather requirements.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of proficiency in Java programming (latest versions preferred Java 17 or above) and experience with the Spring Boot framework.

- Hands-on expertise in Microservices architecture design and implementation.

- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases and SQL queries.

- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.

- Familiarity with Apache Kafka or other message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).

- Good knowledge of Redis for caching and session management.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Experience with API management platforms like Tibco Mashery.

- Hands-on experience with application deployment processes.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
