Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software testing, automation framework development, and quality engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java-based test automation, automation framework design, UI automation, and end-to-end feature validation across complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and reusable automation components.

- Automate complex product features and customer-centric test scenarios across the complete software lifecycle.

- Develop simulators, mocks, and test utilities to support feature validation and regression testing.

- Create and execute automated test suites using Java and JUnit frameworks.

- Design and implement UI automation using tools such as Selenium or equivalent web automation frameworks.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure quality deliverables.

- Perform defect identification, root cause analysis, and detailed bug reporting.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to continuous integration and automated testing pipelines.

- Ensure high test coverage, reliability, and maintainability of automation assets.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

- Strong programming expertise in Java.

- Hands-on experience with JUnit and automation framework development.

- Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.

- Expertise in Selenium, Protractor, or similar web-based UI automation tools.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with defect tracking, test management, and version control tools.

- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with Shell Scripting, JavaScript, Perl, or similar scripting languages.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Spring Boot-based automation frameworks.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Understanding of REST API testing and automation.

- Experience working with database testing and PL/SQL.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and command-line operations.

- Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
