About the Role :

Technology Risk Consulting team helps clients across industries navigate complex strategic, operational, compliance, and governance challenges. We deliver expertise across areas such as Cybersecurity Risk Management, SOC1/SOC2, IT Audits, Internal Controls, Cyber Transformation, Digital Forensics, and Governance Risk & Compliance.

As a Senior Associate - SOC, you will play a key role in performing SOC 1 / SOC 2 audits, IT General Controls (ITGC) testing, and IT Application Controls (ITAC) reviews for global clients. This role offers extensive exposure to international clients, cutting-edge risk frameworks, and a strong career growth path in the technology risk domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct and document assessments for SOC 1 / SOC 2, IT General Controls (ITGC), and IT Application Controls (ITAC) under SSAE 18 standards.

- Perform technology risk assessments, IT internal audit consulting, and service organization control services.

- Review, evaluate, and test internal controls over financial reporting and technology systems.

- Utilize frameworks like COSO, COBIT, and Sarbanes-Oxley to assess IT governance and risk.

- Prepare process and data flow diagrams using MS Visio.

- Analyze data using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) and prepare reports/presentations in Word & PowerPoint.

- Identify control deficiencies and communicate risk implications effectively to stakeholders.

- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality and timely service delivery.

- Work collaboratively with U.S. and India consulting teams under an offshore delivery model.

- Maintain compliance with quality standards and professional ethics.

- Stay current with emerging risks, standards, and technologies through continuous learning.

Required Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-8 years of experience in SSAE 18, SOC reports, ITGC, and ITAC

- Basic to intermediate understanding of financials, operations, and technology risks.

- Working knowledge of SOC 1 / SOC 2, ITGC, ITAC frameworks (Mandatory)

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

- Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications :

- B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / B.Com (Hons) / CA / CPA / MBA - IT / PG - IT / Risk.

- Pursuing or holding certifications like CIA, CISA, CMA, ISO, CRISC, CISSP.
