Job Title : Senior Snowflake Engineer (Permanent Role)

Location : Remote India

Time Zone : Singapore (SGT)

Joining Timeline : Immediate to 23 Weeks

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions.

This role will be pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making by delivering robust data pipelines, efficient data models, and high-performing analytics systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams, to deliver impactful data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT processes using Snowflake

- Implement and manage Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks

- Build optimized data models (Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling) for analytics and reporting

- Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and cost optimization across data platforms

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using dbt and Python

- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure seamless data flow across systems

- Support reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Qlik

- Implement best practices for security, governance, and compliance

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in data engineering or data development

- Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake

- Proficiency in SQL and Python

- Experience with dbt (data build tool)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

- Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or Qlik

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders

Preferred/Good to Have :

- Hands-on experience with Dataiku

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins

- Exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow or Informatica

- Understanding of data governance and data warehousing best practices
