Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data models, ELT pipelines, and data integration workflows.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize query performance in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to support data requirements and analytics needs.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines integrating Snowflake with Python, DBT, and other ETL/ELT tools.
- Monitor and tune Snowflake environments for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards within Snowflake environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Document data models, processes, and standards to maintain a robust data infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and administration.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, query tuning, and building ELT/ETL pipelines on Snowflake.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripting within Snowflake.
- Experience integrating Snowflake with Python, DBT, or similar data transformation and orchestration tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud data platforms and architectures.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, best practices, and cloud-native data solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with additional cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
