Description :

We are looking for an experienced Sr Consultant with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL development, cloud technologies, and data engineering.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Snowflake architecture, data migration, orchestration, and cloud-based data processing solutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in data warehousing concepts, and the ability to work on enterprise-scale data transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, analytical functions, aggregate functions, and joins

- Design and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, and data-sharing structures

- Build and manage Snowpipe for automated data ingestion processes

- Load and transform data into Snowflake from internal and external stages

- Monitor Snowflake multi-cluster sizing, performance optimization, and credit usage

- Develop automation and orchestration scripts using Python or PySpark

- Work with orchestration tools such as Active Batch or similar automation platforms

- Manage data exchange between AWS services like S3 and Snowflake

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for migration and modernization projects

- Support database migration projects from Oracle or other databases to Snowflake

- Ensure data security, performance, scalability, and best practices in cloud environments

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform

- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analytical functions

- Good understanding of Snowflake architecture and cloud technology

- Experience with Snowpipe, data sharing, database/schema/table structures

- Hands-on experience with Python or PySpark for automation and orchestration

- Knowledge of AWS services such as S3 and EC2

- Experience in loading and processing large datasets in Snowflake

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience in migration projects from Oracle or other databases to Snowflake

- Knowledge of orchestration tools like Active Batch

- Exposure to Big Data technologies and ecosystems

- Experience in enterprise data warehousing and cloud transformation projects

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering solutions

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience in enterprise-scale data modernization projects preferred
