Role Overview :

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will serve as a technical architect and primary implementer for enterprise-grade service management solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, business analysts, and global clients to translate complex operational requirements into scalable, automated workflows.

By leveraging the full breadth of the ServiceNow platform, you will drive digital transformation, streamline service delivery, and enhance the overall user experience for thousands of internal and external customers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our platform architecture remains robust, secure, and aligned with evolving business objectives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.

- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

- Use Glide APIs, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and GlideSystem for ServiceNow development.

- Design and implement ServiceNow workflows and Flow Designer solutions.

- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs with external and enterprise applications.

- Work on ServiceNow ITSM modules and related customizations.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in ServiceNow applications.

- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and upgrade-safe approaches.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other technical teams.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining ServiceNow modules, specifically ITSM and HRSD, with a deep understanding of the platform's underlying data architecture.

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and server-side scripting, including the ability to write efficient GlideRecord queries and complex Business Rules to meet unique business logic requirements.

- Proven experience in designing and consuming REST APIs to facilitate complex integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise applications.

- Strong capability in modern front-end development using ServiceNow UI Builder to create high-impact, user-centric portal experiences.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations in a client-facing capacity.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a remote or distributed team environment.

- Ability to thrive in a 5 - 10 year experience bracket, demonstrating a mature approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
