Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient ServiceNow Developer - CMDB Specialist to join our team. This role demands deep technical and functional expertise in Service Now, particularly in CMDB Infrastructure, Integrations, Discovery, Service Mapping, APM, and third-party tool integration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CMDB structure and its relationships across Cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments, along with extensive hands-on experience in Scripting, Catalog Development, and workflow automation within ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement third-party integrations for ServiceNow CMDB.

- Build and customize ServiceNow Applications using JavaScript, Glide API, and other scripting tools.

- Ensure CMDB data integrity, structure optimization, and relationship management across all environments.

- Configure and enhance Service Catalog items, Workflows, and Flow Designer flows.

- Implement and support Discovery and Service Mapping to automate CMDB population.

- Utilize Application Portfolio Management (APM) to align applications with organizational strategy and governance.

- Automate and maintain accurate relationships in CMDB, including Cloud, SaaS, and hybrid IT environments.

- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and compliant integration solutions.

- Participate in functional design sessions and provide technical leadership for ServiceNow CMDB solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of proven experience in ServiceNow development and administration.

- Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, and Integration with third-party tools and systems.

- Deep understanding of the CMDB data model, dependencies, and relationship mapping.

- Advanced scripting capabilities using JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, etc.

- Proficiency in designing and managing Service Catalogs, Workflows, and Flow Designer.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and automated CI identification.

- Functional and technical understanding of Application Portfolio Management (APM).

- Strong grasp of Cloud, SaaS, and hybrid infrastructure, and how they integrate into CMDB.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Discovery / CMDB / APM (any relevant module)

- ITIL v3/v4 Certification is a plus.
