Description :
- Conduct in-depth security analysis with a focus on hands-on coding (8095%).
- Design, deploy, and operate security detection and protection services across infrastructure (network, OS, storage) in cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Incorporate risk scoring methodologies and prioritization into detection and remediation strategies.
- Secure network and operating systems across both on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
- Perform basic incident response and forensic investigations at the network and OS layer.
- Design, develop, support, and maintain system infrastructure including hardware and software implementations.
- Review, update, and maintain technical documentation, models, and reports to meet stakeholder needs.
- Provide advanced end-user and cross-functional support as required.
- Work on complex, cross-functional assignments requiring broad technical expertise and strategic problem solving.
- Actively participate in Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Kanban) to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of experience in a computer security role, with exposure to offensive security and vulnerability analysis.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience analyzing vulnerabilities and exploits; experience implementing detection capabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) including security best practices.
- Hands-on operations experience with cloud infrastructure and security tools (e.g., Host Intrusion Detection, WAF, API Security).
- Strong grasp of AWS infrastructure tools and automation (Infrastructure as Code, operations); AWS security engineering experience is a plus.
- Software development experience in Python, Golang, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of machine learning model development for security use cases is a plus.
- Proven ability to work as a self-starter, make independent decisions, and drive work forward with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering against commitments.
- Excellent collaboration and partnership skills, able to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Clear and concise technical documentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow within the security engineering field.
Education :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience (Cybersecurity emphasis preferred).
