Role : Senior SAP WM Consultant & S/4HANA Transformation Specialist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior SAP WM Consultant & S/4HANA Transformation Specialist to play a critical role in our ongoing S/4HANA transformation initiatives. This contract role requires a minimum of 7+ years of hands-on SAP Warehouse Management (WM) experience, focusing on deep technical configuration, robust system integration, and advanced problem-solving. The Consultant will be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into high-quality, sustainable WM solutions and supporting the full project lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities :

SAP WM Technical Configuration :

- Execute hands-on SAP WM configuration for complex warehouse structures, including the definition and setup of Storage Types, Storage Sections, and Bin Structures with optimal capacity settings.

- Design, implement, and optimize sophisticated Putaway and Picking Strategies (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, Stock Removal Rules) to maximize warehouse efficiency and productivity.

- Configure and manage movement types, search strategies, and various WM organizational units.

System Integration and Data Management :

- Ensure seamless and robust integration with other core SAP modules, specifically MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and LE (Logistics Execution), ensuring accurate data flow and process alignment.

- Apply technical expertise in data migration activities related to WM, including master data (storage bins, materials) and transactional data, ensuring data integrity during the S/4HANA transformation.

- Configure and support RF (Radio Frequency) technology integration for real-time data capture and execution of warehouse tasks using mobile data entry.

Analysis, Support, and Quality Assurance :

- Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical thinking to diagnose complex business needs and translate them accurately into technical specifications and configuration within SAP WM.

- Provide expert support for end-users through testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT), conducting detailed training sessions, and resolving post-go-live issues and production incidents.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and procedural documentation for all new configurations and custom developments.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Experience : Minimum 7+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience as an SAP WM Consultant.

Technical Configuration : Mandatory technical skills in configuration of storage types, bin structures, and putaway/picking strategies.

Integration : Proven experience configuring integration with SAP MM, SD, and LE.

Technology : Hands-on experience implementing and supporting RF technology (Mobile Data Entry).

Project Skills : Experience with data migration concepts and procedures within a logistics module.

Non-Technical Skills : Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
