Job Title : SAP WM Consultant (Manufacturing Domain)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant with 810 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM implementations and support, specifically within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional and configuration expertise in SAP WM, deep understanding of warehouse operations, and proven experience in end-to-end project lifecycles. Exposure to SAP EWM and S/4HANA is a strong advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute end-to-end SAP WM implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.

- Configure and manage SAP WM components such as :

- Warehouse structure (warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, bins)

- Putaway and picking strategies

- Transfer orders and transfer requirements

- Inventory management at WM level

- Work extensively on Batch Management and Serial Number Management in manufacturing scenarios.

- Design and support production supply processes, including staging, consumption, and replenishment.

Integrate SAP WM with :

- MM : procurement, goods receipt, inventory management

- SD : Outbound delivery, shipping, picking, packing

- PP : Production supply, backflushing, material staging

- QM : Quality inspection, stock transfers, usage decisions

- Handle RF framework configuration, including mobile transactions, barcode scanning, and warehouse mobility processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex WM issues related to inventory discrepancies, transfer order failures, and process bottlenecks.

- Conduct business workshops, blueprint sessions, and user training programs.

- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to translate functional requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

- Support UAT, cutover planning, data migration, and go-live activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior consultants.

- Participate in S/4HANA transformation projects and support transition from SAP WM to SAP EWM.

- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP teams for enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.

- Ensure best practices, compliance, and process standardization across warehouse operations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 - 10 years of hands-on SAP WM experience, including implementation and production support.

- Proven experience in 23 full lifecycle SAP WM implementations within the manufacturing industry.

- Strong domain knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.

- Expertise in SAP WM configuration and customization.

- Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP, and QM modules.

- Hands-on experience with RF transactions and barcode scanning solutions.

- Working knowledge of SAP EWM concepts and readiness to work on S/4HANA platforms.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead functional discussions with senior management.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to SAP EWM implementations or rollouts.

- Experience in S/4HANA conversion or greenfield projects.

- Knowledge of Lean WM / decentralized WM scenarios.

- Understanding of warehouse automation and third-party logistics (3PL) integration.

Education & Certifications

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.

- SAP WM / EWM certification is an added advantage.
