Senior SAP S/4HANA Engineer

Job Title : Senior SAP S/4HANA Engineer.

Location : Chennai (Hybrid 4 days/week from office).

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and use cases, ensuring user

centric outcomes.

- Define and maintain system architecture and design patterns for SAP S/4HANA applications.

- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend applications within SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Ensure high performance and scalability by continuously optimizing code, queries, and processes.

- Implement and monitor test strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for SAP projects.

- Apply security best practices to safeguard enterprise data, including encryption and compliance measures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and architecture to deliver seamless solutions.

- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA innovations, upgrades, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into solutions.

Skills Required :

- Proficiency in ABAP/ABAP on HANA and related SAP programming tools.

- Practical proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) OR advanced expertise in one.

- Solid knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.

- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and microservices in enterprise environments.

Experience Required :

- 8+ years in SAP development, with strong focus on S/4HANA.

- Proven experience mentoring and guiding teams in SAP/software engineering best practices.
