Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and specialized SAP professional with 1215 years of hands-on experience in SAP Retail, focusing specifically on Contract Management and the Business Partner (BP) concept. The ideal candidate must be an immediate joiner (or 10-day notice) with a proven track record in full lifecycle SAP implementations. This role demands deep technical expertise in configuration, customization, and integration, coupled with mandatory advanced knowledge of ALE/EDI technologies and IDoc processing to ensure seamless, compliant operations within the retail business landscape.

Job Description :

SAP Retail Implementation and Core Configuration :

- Lead the end-to-end implementation and continuous support of the SAP Retail modules, with a dedicated focus on processes related to Contracting and Business Partner Management.

- Expertly configure, customize, and troubleshoot SAP Materials Management (MM) and core Retail-specific processes to accurately meet complex business requirements.

- Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders for meticulous Requirements Gathering, translating business needs into detailed functional specifications and robust system designs.

- Design and maintain optimized SAP MM configurations and data models aligned with core retail processes, including procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification.

Business Partner (BP) and CVI Expertise :

- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the SAP Business Partner concept, overseeing its implementation and functionality as the replacement for traditional Customer/Vendor master data structures.

- Mandatorily manage customer and vendor data lifecycle using the BP framework, configuring and assigning appropriate Business Partner roles (e.g., customer, supplier, contact person).

- Implement and provide deep technical support for Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI), including defining necessary mapping rules, managing CVI customizing settings, and utilizing the CVI cockpit for precise data synchronization.

Integration and ALE/EDI Expertise :

- Ensure seamless and robust Integration of SAP Retail with critical related modules, including SD (Sales and Distribution), FI (Financial Accounting), and PP (Production Planning), securing end-to-end process integrity.

- Possess strong knowledge of SAP ALE/EDI technologies, including the configuration of IDoc types, partner profiles, and distribution models for cross-system data transfer.

- Perform advanced monitoring and troubleshooting of IDoc processing using standard transactions such as WE02, WE05, SM58, and BD87.

- Develop and customize IDoc interfaces for integration with both internal SAP and external non-SAP systems, demonstrating proficiency in both inbound and outbound IDoc configuration.

Project Management and Quality Assurance :

- Plan and execute comprehensive system testing, including rigorous integration testing and facilitating client-led User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues related to SAP MM and Retail functionalities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Develop and maintain meticulous documentation, including detailed business process flows, technical configuration guides, and functional specifications.

- Work closely with business users and cross-functional technical teams to collaboratively deliver fully integrated, production-ready solutions and ensure successful post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Mandatory 1215 years of hands-on experience in SAP Retail (specifically Contract Management & Business Partner processes).

- Implementation : Proven track record in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.

- Core Modules : Deep functional and configuration expertise in SAP MM and SAP Retail.

- Integration : Mandatory expert knowledge of SAP ALE/EDI, IDoc types, BAPI, and CVI implementation.

- Problem Solving : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

- Education : Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills :

- Industry Experience : Previous consulting or in-house experience with large-scale retail or CPG organizations.

- S/4HANA : Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Retail concepts and system conversion processes.

- Technical Debugging : Proficiency in ABAP debugging to isolate and resolve complex functional issues.

- Reporting Tools : Experience with SAP query tools or reporting solutions within the Retail domain.
