Zorba Consulting India is hiring an experienced, hands on Senior SAP PP Consultant (8+ years) to join an onsite delivery team in India.

This role is ideal for a results driven SAP PP specialist who can lead blueprinting, configuration, testing and go live support for SAP ECC and S/4HANA PP/PI projects.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead end to end SAP PP design and configuration for discrete & process manufacturingMRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centre, Production Orders and Capacity Planning.

- Perform business blueprinting and gap analysis; translate functional requirements into SAP configuration and process flows.

- Drive integration with MM, QM, SD and shop floor systems (MES) using IDoc/BAPI/PI?PO or middleware; ensure seamless master data alignment.

- Build and execute unit, integration and UAT test plans; troubleshoot issues and own cutover activities during go live.

- Mentor junior consultants, provide configuration checklists, best practice playbooks and operational handover to support teams.

- Support performance tuning for MRP runs, PP?DS optimizations and continuous improvement initiatives post implementation.

Skills & Qualifications :

Must Have :

- 8+ years of SAP PP experience with demonstrated end to end implementations in ECC and/or S/4HANA.

- Strong hands on expertise in MRP (lot sizing, planning horizons), BOMs, Routings, Work Centers and Production Orders.

- Proven experience integrating PP with MM/QM/SD and shop floor/MES systems (IDoc/BAPI/PI?PO knowledge).

- Experience with PP PI or PP DS implementations and capacity planning/finite scheduling concepts.

- Excellent problem solving, stakeholder management and documentation skills; ability to lead workshops and support cutover.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT or equivalent; SAP certification in PP is a strong plus.

Preferred :

- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects and conversion/fit gap across classic PP vs. S/4 functional variants.

- Knowledge of MES integration patterns, LSMW/BDC data migration and basic ABAP understanding for troubleshooting interfaces.

- Exposure to advanced planning tools (SAP APO, IBP, PP?DS) and continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN/6).
