Role Overview :

We are hiring an accomplished SAP EWM Senior Consultant with over a decade of experience in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Supply Chain Execution (SCE) across large-scale SAP transformation programs.

The ideal candidate will combine deep functional expertise with strong solution architecture and delivery leadership capabilities to optimize warehousing, logistics, and distribution processes within SAP S/4HANA or Decentralized EWM environments.

This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on configuration expertise, proven ability to manage complex business integrations, and a strong record of delivering value-driven warehouse automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead full-cycle SAP EWM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and warehouse operations.

- Design, configure, and deploy EWM functionalities including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and physical inventory.

- Develop robust warehouse processes encompassing put-away, picking, packing, staging, replenishment, and labor management.

- Integrate EWM with key modules such as MM, SD, TM, and PP for seamless supply chain visibility and process flow.

- Conduct blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops with business and IT stakeholders.

- Lead testing cycles, UAT, and cutover planning to ensure a smooth transition to production environments.

- Troubleshoot complex EWM issues and provide expert-level support during deployment and hypercare.

- Collaborate with technical teams for custom enhancements, RF framework configurations, and integration with material handling systems (MFS).

- Develop and maintain process documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

- Mentor junior consultants, review deliverables, and uphold quality assurance across the EWM work stream.

- Stay abreast of new SAP S/4HANA EWM functionalities and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP EWM and WM with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations in global environments.

- In-depth knowledge of inbound, outbound, cross-docking, wave management, slotting, and warehouse task management.

- Strong understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, and TM modules.

- Hands-on experience with EWM on SAP S/4HANA, including embedded and decentralized deployments.

- Experience in configuring RF transactions, queues, and warehouse automation systems (e.g., conveyors, scanners).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex warehouse and logistics scenarios.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills for business-facing delivery.

- Experience with testing tools, transport management, and performance tuning of EWM environments.

- Proven leadership in managing offshore and onshore teams within large implementation or support programs.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certified Application Professional - Extended Warehouse Management.

- Experience with Material Flow Systems (MFS), Yard Logistics, or EWMTM integration.

- Exposure to automation technologies, RFID, or IoT-based warehouse operations.

- Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, or Automotive sectors.

- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
