Role Overview
We are seeking a highly specialized and experienced Senior SAP Consultant focused on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supplier Qualification Management (SQM).
This contract role is fully remote and requires a self-starting individual who can quickly integrate into assessment and implementation projects, analyzing complex procurement and qualification processes and translating them into effective SAP solutions.
Main Activities
- Process Analysis & Assessment : Conduct comprehensive process analysis, workshops, and fit-gap assessments related to existing and future-state procurement and supplier qualification models.
- SAP SRM/SQM Configuration : Lead and execute configuration and customization activities within the SAP SRM and SAP SQM modules based on defined business requirements and solution designs.
- Solution Design & Blueprinting : Participate actively in design workshops and blueprinting phases, ensuring the proposed solutions align with industry best practices and client needs.
- Project Execution : Drive and execute all required technical and functional activities for internal projects, including integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and deployment preparation.
- Knowledge Transfer : Document solutions thoroughly and provide training and support to end-users and client functional teams.
Mandatory Skills & Experience :
The candidate must possess a minimum of 4 years of demonstrable, hands-on experience with the following :
SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) :
- End-to-End Procurement : Expertise in managing the complete procurement lifecycle within SAP SRM, from requirement generation to payment.
- Purchase Orders (POs) : Detailed configuration and process knowledge regarding Purchase Order creation, management, and tracking in SRM.
- Contract Management : Strong experience in managing purchasing contracts, agreements, and scheduling agreements within the SRM environment.
- Supplier Self-Service (SUS) : Experience implementing and optimizing the Supplier Self-Service portal for supplier interaction and document exchange.
- Sourcing Management : Practical experience with sourcing processes (e.g., RFx, Auctions) within the SRM suite.
SAP SQM (Supplier Qualification Management) :
- Supplier Qualification Process : Deep functional knowledge of designing and configuring the complete Supplier Qualification and Classification processes within SAP SQM.
Desirable Skills (Optional) :
SAP MM (Material Management) : Functional understanding of core SAP MM processes and their integration points with SAP SRM/SQM.
C-Folder : Familiarity with the use and configuration of C-Folder for document management within supplier collaboration scenarios.
Professional Competencies (Soft Skills) :
- Proactivity : Ability to operate independently in a remote setting, anticipating issues, and demonstrating high levels of self-drive and accountability.
- Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, required for effective client interaction, workshop leadership, and documentation.
- Client Management : Proven capability to establish strong professional relationships with clients, manage expectations, and facilitate solution acceptance.
