Senior SAP CO Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP CO Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) modules to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP CO sub-modules, proven experience in end-to-end implementations, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize financial controlling processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

- Configure and customize SAP CO sub-modules such as:

• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders (IO)
• Product Costing (PC)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Integrate SAP CO with FI, MM, PP, and SD modules.

- Perform system testing, UAT support, and end-user training.

- Provide expertise in period-end closing activities, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

- Act as an SME for SAP CO, ensuring compliance with financial policies and industry best practices.

- Work with stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

- Support migration/upgrade projects (e.g., SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA).

KEY REQUIREMENTS :

- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP CO Functional Consultant.

- Strong expertise in SAP CO sub-modules (CCA, PCA, IO, CO-PA, PC).

- Proven track record in at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations and multiple support/rollout projects.

- In-depth understanding of integration points with FI, MM, PP, and SD.

- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to map business requirements to system functionalities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead workshops, mentor junior consultants, and interact with senior business leaders.

Good To Have :

- Exposure to SAP FICO Central Finance.

- Knowledge of SAP CO Reporting tools (e.g., Report Painter, CDS Views, Fiori apps).

- Experience in working with global teams and multi-country implementations.

- Basic understanding of SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation).

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

- SAP CO certification is a strong plus
