About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SAP BW Developer with at least 8 years of dedicated experience in SAP BW implementation, development, and support. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of all SAP BW artifacts, along with strong programming proficiency in SAP ABAP and SQL. This role requires end-to-end ownership of complex data warehousing solutions while also mentoring junior team members and shaping the organization's overall data strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Development : Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable SAP BW solutions (7.5 and below) covering data modeling, ETL processes, reporting, and authorizations.

- Data Engineering : Manage extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.

- Programming Expertise : Apply advanced SAP ABAP programming within the BW context (transformations, extractors, function modules) and develop SQL scripts for queries and performance tuning.

- System Optimization : Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks in data loads, queries, and system operations.

- Collaboration & Advisory : Partner with technical leads, client executives, and stakeholders to deliver successful cloud-based SAP BW implementations; act as a trusted advisor in solution design.

- Best Practices & Methodologies : Work with internal teams to standardize practices, share lessons learned, and contribute to thought leadership.

- Project Delivery : Define scope, manage risks/issues, track timelines, and ensure successful client outcomes.

- Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical expertise and knowledge-sharing.

- Customer Advocacy : Represent customer needs, help overcome adoption challenges, and influence new feature development based on project experiences.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 8 years of SAP BW development & implementation experience.

- In-depth expertise in SAP BW artifacts, ABAP programming, and SQL scripting.

- Strong track record in performance tuning, optimization, and system stability.
