Senior SAP BTP Integration Consultant

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior SAP BTP Integration Consultant with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. This role is central to designing, developing, and supporting complex, mission-critical integration scenarios using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) suite, specifically focusing on SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and event-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Integration Flow Development (CPI) : Design, develop, and deploy complex integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to best practices.

- API Governance : Configure, manage, and secure APIs across the enterprise landscape utilizing SAP API Management.

- Event-Driven Architecture : Implement sophisticated event-driven integrations by leveraging SAP Event Mesh to facilitate asynchronous communication between SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Technical Design & Logic : Implement advanced routing, complex message mapping, data transformation, and robust exception handling mechanisms within iFlows.

- System Integration : Facilitate seamless, bidirectional data exchange by integrating core SAP systems like SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and Concur, as well as various external third-party applications.

- Testing and Performance : Conduct rigorous integration testing, provide expert-level troubleshooting, and perform methodical performance tuning of existing and new integration artifacts.

- Collaboration & Documentation : Collaborate closely with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to accurately gather requirements, ensure delivery quality, and prepare detailed technical documentation and operational support materials.

Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills) :

- Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP integration technology.

- Core BTP : Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management.

- CPI Technical : Proficiency in iFlow design, Groovy scripting, and complex message mapping techniques.

- Protocols & Standards : Deep understanding and practical experience with key integration standards: IDoc, RFC, OData, REST/SOAP, and JSON/XML.

- Security : Familiarity and practical experience implementing standard authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and SAML.

- System Integration : Proven experience integrating SAP core systems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur) or complex third-party applications.

- Eventing : Experience implementing event-driven integrations leveraging Event Mesh.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in SAP Integration Suite or SAP Cloud Integration.

- Experience with additional BTP services like SAP Workflow Management or Business Application Studio (BAS).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices for integration development (e.g., CI/CD for iFlows).
