Job Description :

Professional Summary Highly experienced SAP Specialist with 10 years of total experience, including 6-7 years of dedicated expertise in developing and architecting applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Expert in implementing S/4HANA extensions using Clean Core principles and the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM). Proven track record in full-stack development, integration, and AI-driven business solutions. A self-starter with a passion for building sustainable, high-quality SAP solutions in Agile environments, capable of performing as both an individual contributor and a strategic team member.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Cloud Foundry runtime.

- Architect and implement side-by-side extensions for S/4HANA strictly adhering to Clean Core principles to ensure upgrade-stable environments.

- Develop robust backend services using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) with Node.js or Java.

- Create modern, responsive user interfaces using SAP Fiori Elements and Business Application Studio (BAS).

- Design and manage complex data models and service definitions using Core Data Services (CDS).

- Build and maintain seamless integrations utilizing OData services, REST APIs, SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration), and SAP Event Mesh.

- Develop backend logic within S/4HANA using ABAP on HANA, AMDP, and advanced code push-down techniques.

- Orchestrate business processes and workflows using SAP Build Process Automation or SAP Workflow Management.

- Integrate cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities into business applications using SAP AI Core and SAP AI Launchpad.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for BTP applications using SAP Cloud Transport Management, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance within the Cloud Foundry environment.

- Lead and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, managing the development lifecycle through Jira or Azure DevOps.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and contribute to architectural reviews.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical stakeholders and business leadership.

- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, documentation, and adherence to SAP best practices.

Skills :

- Mastery of SAP BTP services and architecture, specifically within the Cloud Foundry environment.

- Expert knowledge of SAP CAPM (Node.js/Java) and CDS for building scalable cloud services.

- Deep understanding of Clean Core strategies, including Side-by-Side and Key User Extensibility.

- Advanced proficiency in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

- Strong frontend skills in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and CSS/JavaScript.

- Extensive experience with SAP Integration Suite and asynchronous messaging via SAP Event Mesh.

- Proven ability to implement CI/CD for SAP BTP using modern DevOps tooling.

- Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation for low-code/no-code workflow development.

- Competence in integrating Generative AI and ML models via SAP AI Core.

- Solid understanding of SAP security concepts, including XSUAA, JWT, and Scopes.

- Proficiency in Git-based version control and branching strategies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex production issues.

- Exceptional business communication skills in English for global stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Build Apps and SAP Graph for unified data access.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private edition) extensibility framework.

- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration and data modeling.

- Certification in SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP or SAP Cloud Associate.

- Understanding of SAP BTP Security services such as Identity Authentication (IAS) and Identity Provisioning (IPS).

- Experience with TypeScript in the context of CAPM development.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- A Masters degree in a related technical discipline is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of overall experience in SAP technical consulting and development.

- 6 to 7 years of specialized experience in SAP BTP and cloud-native development.

- Demonstrated experience in at least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

- Strong background in Agile development methodologies.
